Dallas Conrad

January 24, 1930 — March 12, 2013

Dallas Augustus Conrad, 83, husband of Shirley M. (Lessig) Conrad of Green Lane, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital – Bethlehem.

Born in Pottstown, he was one of thirteen children to the late Leroy J. and Mary (Meyers) Conrad.

Dallas served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post #184 of Palm.

Dallas worked for Knoll International for 34 years as a machine specialist before retiring.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 59 years on April 26 are his children Darryl Conrad and his wife, Lori of Alburtis and Karen E. and her husband, Barry Walker of Perkiomenville; siblings, Helen and her husband Lloyd Zimmerman, Mary Jane and her husband, Edward Wasson, Gail Godusky, Annette Hahn, Alice Murphy, Marilyn Houck, Raid Conrad and his wife, Leona, and Dane Houck and his wife, Donna; five grandchildren, Tiffany and her husband Kevin Millet, Dustin Walker, Kevin Walker, Dallas Conrad and Lydia Conrad; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Kevin, Lillian, Grace and Mark. He was predeceased by siblings, Keith, Grant and Rand Conrad and Lucille Yerger.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 am from the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home Inc., 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Elaine Ely officiating. Offer words of comfort to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
