Cyril J. Kehs, 93, widower of Rita M. (Melcher) Kehs, of Main Street, Bally, PA, died Sunday in his residence.
Born in Barto, PA, he was a son of the late Henry and Isabella (Walters) Kehs.
He was a Production Planner for Bally Case and Cooler, retiring in 1984.
He was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bally, PA.
Surviving are 5 sons, John Kehs of Huntersville, North Carolina, Martin Kehs of Barto, Vincent Kehs of Barto, Charles Kehs of Barto and Bob Kehs of Sellersville; 8 daughters, Mary, wife of Larry Fronheiser of Bally, Teresa, wife of Dr. Headley White of New Hampshire, Anne, wife of Michael Tovcimak of Zionsville, Ruth, wife of J.R. Breuninger, East Greenville, Helen, wife of Barry Moyer of Gilbertsville, Lucy, wife of Ted Destan of Gilbertsville, Agnes, wife of Jeff Haddad of Boyertown and Kathleen Kehs of Emmaus; 2 sisters, Mildred W. Kehs of Bally and Angela Gehringer of Bally; a brother, Henry W. Kehs and wife, Mary of Barto; 36 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dog named Jackson. He was predeceased by two sons, James and Francis Kehs; a daughter, Jane DiCindio; and a grandson, Jimmy DiCindio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1st at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA with the Msgr. Edward J. Coyle, Pastor of the church officiating. Interment will follow in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Bally. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Francis J. Kehs Scholarship Fund, Boyertown Education Center, 911 Montgomery Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512 and to Jimmy DiCindio, Jenny Gilbert, Leslie Saponsky, Key Club, Kiwanis, Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O.
