Clifford Jay Cashatt, 28, of Pennsburg, died suddenly of a heart attack while snowboarding in Glens Falls, New York.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Jay R. Cashatt of Bally and Debbie R. (Scholl) Cashatt with whom he resided along with his companion, Jessica Lewandowski.
He was a supervisor at Midgard Inc. in Green Lane where he has worked for the past six years. He also operated a small graphic arts business.
He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid snowboarder and musician, loved white water kayaking and riding his Harley Davidson.
He attended St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, was a 2001 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was an Eagle Scout of East Greenville Boy Scout Troop #108.
Surviving along with his father, mother and companion, is a sister, Taryn, wife of Michael Kuzmission of Red Hill; maternal grandparents, Richard and Joan (Houseknecht) Scholl of Pennsburg and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends he considered family. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Howard Taft Cashatt and Idella (Schoelkopf) Cashatt Benner.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
