Clark Robinson, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. He was 89 years old. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Lowrie) Robinson, sharing 68 years of marriage together.
Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Charlotte (Frey) Robinson.
Clark was an Operations Manager at the Great American Knitting Mills in Bally, PA for 35 years before retiring in 1990 and the President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Hosiery Manufacturers during his career. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War.
He was an active member at St. Philip Neri R. C. Church in Pennsburg where he would be seen volunteering at the carnival and many other church activities. He was the Cub Master and Scout Master of the St. Philip Neri Troop 591. He had a giving heart and enjoyed being involved with his church, community and most importantly, his family. He passed this trait down to his children who are also involved members of their communities.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Bill Robinson, Jr. and wife, Cindy of East Greenville, PA, Karen Snyder of Hereford, PA, Jim Robinson and wife, Sue of Chester, MD, and Tom Robinson and wife, Yvonne of Bonita Springs, FL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gloria. He is predeceased by an infant daughter, Mary Robinson; a grandson, Jonathan Robinson; a son in law, Charles Snyder; two brothers, Samuel and Sherman; and four step-siblings, Evelyn, Ruth, Mildred and Carl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a burial in Holy Cross following. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to mass. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
