Clara A. ( Ernst) Smith, 69, widow of Ulysses E Smith, of Pennsburg, Pa, died on March 3, 2018 at Pennsburg Manor.
Clara was born in Phoenixville, Pa on April 7, 1948 to the late Harold Lightcap and Anna Petzold. She was later adopted by Walter and Helen Ernst of East Greenville, Pa.
She was a member of St. Phillip Neri where she married her first husband Richard W. Witman.
Clara enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family and playing cards.
Surviving are her three daughters, Stephanie Bennett, Andrea McGowan and Jessica Witman; and her three granddaughters Brianna Bartholomew, Ashley Bartholomew and Gabriella McGowan.
Services will be private. Cremation entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
