Charles Roberts

Charles H. Roberts, 94, widower of Elizabeth (Schultz) Roberts, formerly of Seminary Street, Pennsburg, passed away on May 8, 2010 at Phoebe Home, Allentown.
Born in Hereford, PA, he was a son of the late Harry and Mabel (Fetterman) Roberts.
He was a Carpenter for the former Hereford Construction for almost 50 years retiring in 2000.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ since 1933.
Surviving is his daughter, Charlotte Ann, wife of Darius Puff of Boyertown and a granddaughter, Heather.
Along with his wife and parents, he is predeceased by a brother, James O. Roberts and a sister, Florence Waterman.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville with the Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at church. Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
