Charles J. Mutter, 84, of Bally and formerly of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Greenfield of Perkiomen Valley, Schwenksville. He was the husband of the late Janet (Reigner) Mutter.
Born in Bally, PA, he was a son of the late Harold and Anna (Keim) Mutter.
Charles was a salesman for Fife Corporation in Oklahoma City for 45 years retiring in 2010. Prior to that he worked at the Boyertown Packaging Company.
He was a 1951 graduate of Boyertown High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
Surviving are a brother, Leo D. “Boots” Mutter and his wife, Faye of Bally and two nephews, Randall Mutter of Glendale, AZ and Glenn Mutter of Bally. Along with his wife and parents he is predeceased by a brother, Harold Paul Mutter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Mark Hager of Butter Valley Church officiating. Burial follows in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
