Charles J. Morrotto, Sr., 87, of Green Lane passed away August, 24, 2012 in his home surrounded by family.
Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (Cataldo) Morrotto.
He worked as a foreman with PennDOT for over twenty years as a road construction foreman, retired in 1987.
He was a World War Two United States Marine Veteran. He was a member of the Green Lane Fire Company, VFW Post 5954 of Red Hill.
He is survived by children, Linda Mangini and husband, Lou of Florida, Vincent Morrotto of North Wales, Angela Schlegel and husband Steven K. of Green Lane and Kevin C. Morrotto and wife, Lisa M. of Coopersburg; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son, Charles J. Morrotto, Jr., a daughter-in-law, Debra A. Morrotto and one brother and one sister.
Relatives and friends are invited to his services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA with Pastor Scott L. Nice officiating. A visitation will be held for one hour prior in the church. Cremation Services are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
