Charles R. Miller, Jr., 85, husband of Marion V. (Schoenly) Miller, of Boyertown, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in his home.
Born in Huff’s Church, PA, he was a son of the late Stella M. (Brensinger) and Charles R. Miller, Sr.
Charles worked as a Truck Driver for C.H. Zern, Gilbertsville and West Motor Freight, Morysville, PA before retiring in 1988.
He was a lifelong member of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis and the New Berlinville Fire Co.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Sandra E. Miller of Boyertown and a sister, Fern, wife of Carl Seidt of Bechtelsville. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011 with Rev. Jane Moffet Kropa officiating. Burial follows in Huff’s Union Cemetery, Alburtis.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45am on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
