Charles Marks

Charles R. Marks, Sr., 76, of Zionsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Linda M. (Litzenberger) Marks, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Hannah (Lesher) Marks, Sr.

Charles was a 1964 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and attended Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center. He then spent his life as a dairy farmer working on the family farm. He was a lifelong member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Old Zionsville, PA, a member of Future Farmer’s of America and volunteered at Hereford Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six sons, Charles Marks, Jr., Andrew Marks, Edwin Marks and wife, Briana, Phillip Marks and companion, Christina, Jason Marks and wife, Rita and Neil Marks and companion, Karen Miller; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Sivco; and his brother, LeRoy Marks Jr. and wife, Marlene.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Hwy S, Old Zionsville, PA 18068. Family and friends may greet the family from 10 to 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
