Charles “Charlie” H. Hilbert, 74, of East Greenville, passed away, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Karin Y. (Flike) Hilbert, celebrating 31 years of marriage July 2, 2017.
Charlie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and spent two years in Vietnam.
He was a foreman at Keystone Transformer in Pennsburg for 16 years and also worked at the Riviera Restaurant for 8 years.
Charlie was a member of the VFW in East Greenville, fire policeman for East Greenville Fire Co. and was involved with Toys for Tots. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving along with his wife are his five children, Butch Hilbert and wife, Heather, Jennifer Hilbert, wife o Roy Saudarg Melissa Kulp, Angel Kesterke and Danielle, wife of David Devine; eight grandchildren, Karissa Bowman, Tyler Kulp, Haley Hilbert, Brandon Hilbert, Colt Saudarg, Ryan Devine, Kaleb Saudarg and Makayla Saudarg; a brother, Linwood Dairy; and two sisters, Pearl Kinkade and LaRue Hooper.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister Leanne Dairy.
Services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
