Cathryn M. (Kriebel) Rothenberger, 79, formerly of Red Hill died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Pennsurg Manor. She was the wife of the late Lloyd H. Rothenberger.
Born in Bally, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Mary (Henry) Kriebel.
She worked for the Red Hill Post Office for 22 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg where she helped out with the craft guild, played and called bingo and she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a Girl Scout Leader, enjoyed needlework, knitting, crocheting and tatting.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra L. Rothenberger of Perkiomenville and Barbara A. Reinheimer and husband, Robert of Red Hill; a sister Myrtle (Kriebel) Weinsteiger of Bechtelsville; two grandchildren, Crystal L. Snyder and husband, Steven of Mt. Joy, Lancaster County and Jason M. Smith of Red Hill; a great granddaughter, MacKenna Rhea Snyder of Mt. Joy, Lancaster County. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wallace P. Kriebel.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends may view from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, in the church.
