Carrie Butko

Carrie Clara Butko, 97, of Perkiomenville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Knappenberger, Sr. and the late Joseph Butko.

Born in Marlborough Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Minerva (Lick) Walter.

She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed flower gardening, embroidery and sewing.

Surviving are her children: Frank Knappenberger, Jr, husband of the late Florence, Caroline Knappenberger and Clifford Knappenberger; five grandchildren, Rose Adamski, Bobby Knappenberger, David Morgan, Rachel Morgan and Antonio Adamski; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Knappenberger and Abigail Kramer; five siblings, Marcella Rennard, Stella Lesher, Fern Schantz, Allen Walter and Shirley Knappenberger; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial following in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM.
