Carlisle D. Parsons, 81, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Barbara (James) Parsons.
Born in McMichael, PA, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Verna (Snyder) Parsons. He was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School class of 1957. Carlisle worked for thirty-seven years as a diesel mechanic for Mack Truck before retiring.
He enjoyed farming and collecting John Deere tractors. He also sang with the Italian group, I Paesani and the Mack Choir.
In addition to his wife of fifty-five years, he is survived by his daughters: Debra Parsons and Lynne Biton; grandchildren: Morgan, Rylan and Averian; siblings: Lydia Borst, Morton Parsons, Beverly Zimmerman and her husband Larry, and Dean Parsons and his wife Susan and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Officiating will be Rev. James R. Roth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association by visiting www.ALZ.org or by mail at Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
