Bruce Sherman Marks of Barto, PA, passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on September 15, 1955, Bruce was a son of Sherman Marks of California and the late Valentina (Palencar) Abel. He was also the step-son of the late Asher Abel.
Bruce was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Throughout his life, Bruce found solace in the open road, embarking on cross-country journeys on his Harley Davidson alongside his beloved wife, Bonnie. Their travels through Canada and Mexico created lasting memories that he held dear to his heart. Their shared passion for travel forged unforgettable memories that will forever be treasured. Bruce's heart was also full of love for Doberman dogs, particularly his cherished companion Rebel.
A man of simple pleasures, Bruce took pride in the craftsmanship of splitting wood and the warmth it brought to his home through the woodstove he tended to diligently. Bruce's greatest passion was his family, cherishing every moment spent with his beloved wife Bonnie Marks of 50 years, his daughter, Jamnie Gill and husband, Brian; son, Victor Marks; and his treasured grandchildren Jordan and Taylor Yerger and Carly Marks; and his brother, Kim Marks.
He is also predeceased by a son, Matthew Marks; son-in-law, John Yerger; and step-sister, Melissa Overdorf.
