Bruce J. Kidd, 56, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown.
Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Alice S. (Swenson) Kidd of Pennsburg and the late Maynard D. Kidd.
Bruce worked as a painter for Clayton H. Landis Co. for many years. He was a member of Calvary Church in Souderton.
Bruce loved to sell Christmas Trees, fish and hunt.
Surviving in addition to his mother Alice, is a daughter, Yolanda Renee Kidd of Pennsburg, four siblings, Gary D. Kidd, Sr. and wife, Antonia of Palm; Mark R., Kidd and wife, Gina of Green Lane, Pamela J. and husband, Jeffrey Bryan of Perkasie and Sandra M. Kidd of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandchildren, Sahia J. and Bernard J. Roemmele.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Ray Kulbeda officiating. Burial follows in the New Goshenhoppen Cemetery in East Greenville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
