Lt. Brian D. Wampole, age 58, a devoted husband, father, Pop-Pop, firefighter and respected member of his community, passed away on September 29, 2024 in the line of duty while operating a non-emergency event with Keystone Water Rescue of Boyertown. Brian was a man of integrity and known for his unwavering dedication to service of others.

Brian was born in Lansdale, PA and was a 1984 graduate of North Penn High School and became a manufacturer of industrial filters, owning and operating Full on Filters (FOF) for many years. Beyond his professional pursuits, Brian epitomized the spirit of service, selflessly devoting his time as an active volunteer firefighter at Keystone Fire Co. in Boyertown, Black Rock Fire Co. in Limerick and West End Fire Company in Stowe. He also dedicated time and served as Lieutenant at Keystone Water Rescue, where his passion for helping others extended to his role as an esteemed certified lead instructor and mentor at the Schuylkill River Water Rescue, where he imparted his skills and knowledge to numerous surrounding fire companies.

Outside of his first responder duties, Brian possessed a remarkable gift for innovation and was known as a reliable handyman who could fix anything that came his way. Brian found joy in spending quality time with his family, especially during the cherished moments at LBI. Brian's proudest title was that of "Pop-Pop" to his beloved grandchildren, with whom he shared a special bond that brought him immense happiness.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart Tammy Wampole of 39 years; his mother Elizabeth (Brackett) Uhler; his daughters Shannon Fritz and Erin Wampole; grandchildren Mariah, Tommy, Tyler, Lily, Ben, Niko, and RJ; sisters, Barbara Behe, Jolene Blong and Ginny Wampole; step-brother Kurt Silfies; step-sister Karen Zimmerman; and half-brother Troy Wampole; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who mourn his loss.
