Beverly A. (Cowher) Latshaw, 51, wife of Thomas C. Latshaw of East Greenville, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010. She and her husband celebrated 28 years of marriage on May 8th.
Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of Agnes S. (Lewandowski) Cowher of Pennsburg and the late Willard R. Cowher.
A 1977 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, she continued her education at Grove City College, graduating in 1981 with a degree in business administration. For the past 30 years she worked at Knoll in East Greenville, most recently in the department of Custom Product Development.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.
She was a member of the East Greenville Fire Company, a TSA judge at Upper Perkiomen High School, a former ambulance corps volunteer, and was active in the Upper Perk Girl Scouts.
Surviving along with her husband and mother, are 2 daughters, Amanda L. Latshaw of New Jersey and Jaclyn N. Latshaw at home; 2 sisters, Shirley A. Dinger and husband, Douglas of Albion, and Maxine E. Bodarky of Phoenixville; in-laws, Rita and Kenneth Latshaw of Pennsburg and many nieces and nephews.
A public viewing will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, July 30, 2010 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Funeral services will be private.
The family requests memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 or to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweifford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
