Betty Mabel (Cronrath) Tinkler, 84, widow of Robert Tinkler, of Lansdale, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Dock Terrace in Landsale.
Born in Red Hill, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Emma (Peterson) King.
She was a Factory Worker for Quakertown Hosiery, Emico Electronics in Perkasie and retired in 1985 from Royal Pants in Perkasie. Betty also sold Avon for many years.
She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville.
Surviving are three children, William J. Kramer of Largo, FL; Vergina “Ginny”, wife of Tunis Cook of East Greenville and Evelyn, wife of Phillip Vanderstine of Quakertown; siblings, Robert “Bob” King of Perkasie; Dorothy Sheetz of Quakertown; and Frieda, wife of Oscar Bauer of Quakertown; four grandchildren, Heather Williams, Faith Gonet, Christina Dibble and Jonathan Vanderstine and eight great-grandchildren, Virginia, George, Emma, Stewart, Isaac, Michael, Ariana, and Juliet. She was predeceased by siblings, Jennie, Mamie, Henry, Ralph and Jean.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial follows in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery in East Greenville. There will be a viewing from 10 am until 11 am Thursday at the funeral home.
