Betty Berryman

February 10, 1940 — May 16, 2014

Betty E. (Krause) Berryman, 74, of Hereford, PA, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the wife of the late William J. “Billy” Berryman for 53 years.

Born in Upper Hanover Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles N. and Sadie Viola (Kulp) Krause.

She worked as a production worker for the former Keystone Transformer Company for 28 years retiring in 2004.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, loved playing Bingo and was a fan of car racing at Grandview Speedway.

Surviving along are 5 children, Donald Berryman and his wife, Cindy of Pottstown; Larry Berryman and his wife, Rona of Barto, Ronald Berryman and his wife, Lisa of Red Hill, Terry Berryman and his wife, Kristina Olson-Berryman of Schwenksville and Debra Hoffman and her husband, Paul of Macungie; a sister, Shirley Monroe and her husband, Wayne of Macungie; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a grandson, Lee Andrew Berryman; a brother, Harold Krause; and a step-brother, Charles N. Krause in World War II.

The funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Robert Santucci officiating. Interment is in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
