Beatrice A. (Urffer) Bauman, 94, formerly of Palm, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in East Norriton, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Russell L. Bauman.
Born in Palm, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Shirey) Urffer.
Beatrice was employed with Plummer Precision Optics in Pennsburg for 10 years and then Dictaphone in Melbourne, FL for 10 years before retiring in 1989.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri Church in Pennsburg, PA and was also active in the Boyertown Community Center; where she was involved with Meals on Wheels. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling and crafting. Above all of this, her greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted and loyal wife who graciously took care of her husband through his physical adversities after suffering from a stroke; and loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her four children, Dale Bauman and wife, Candice, Linda Seymour, Lola Elias and husband, John, and Teresa Templeton and husband, Wilford; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by brothers, Norbert and Carlton Urffer.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a burial following in Holy Cross. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
