Barbara Ann (Treichler) Bailey, 78, wife of Lester S. Bailey, of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.
Born in Old Zionsville, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Sara (Kern) Treichler.
She was a graduate of Allentown Nursing School and was a registered nurse for the Phoebe Devitt Home, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ, Barto and loved to play BINGO at the Kutztown Fire Co.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 58 years are her children, Deanna, wife of Andrew Rompilla, Catasaqua, PA; Lynnette, wife of John Kelly, Allentown, PA; Scott Bailey and wife, Michelle, Alburtis, PA; Carol, wife of Anthony Natale, Kresgeville, PA and Neal Bailey and Christine Griffin, Zionsville, PA; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew A. Bailey.
Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St, East Greenville, PA, 18041. There will be a viewing from 8:30 am to 11am at the funeral home.
