Arlene E. (Hartman) Powers, 71, wife of Brian J. DePue, of Pennsburg, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem.
Born in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Snyder) Hartman.
Arlene worked as a Customer Service Representative at the Fox Bindery of Quakertown for 44 years before retiring.
She loved to garden and go camping.
Surviving in addition to her husband and companion of 34 years, are four children, Dawn, wife of Curtis Reed of Emmaus; James Powers and wife, Sue of Milford Square; Jeffery Powers of Quakertown and John Powers of Spinnerstown; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Samantha, Jade, Jacob, John and Joshua and four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden, Lucas and Olivia. She was predeceased by a son, Jay Powers and sisters, Annette Glasgow and Lydia Moore.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Ryan McMillian officiating.
