Arlene E. (Heimbach) Lesher, 82, widow of John W. Lesher, Jr., of Schwenksville, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her son’s home.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Emma (Wartman) Heimbach.
Arlene worked as a Sorter at American Olean Tile, in Lansdale for 20 years retiring in 1992.
She was a member of Old Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in Woxall.
She will be sadly missed by her children, John W. Lesher, III and wife, Lindalou of Schwenksville, Linda J., wife of Jerry H. Gerhard of Collegeville, Dale A. Lesher and wife, Dorothy of Yardley, Cheryl A., wife of John DeMichael of Barto, and Wendy S., wife of Michael E. Miley of Perkasie; a brother, Arlington Heimbach and wife, Marlene of Graterford; two sisters, Joyce Hoffman of Royersford, and Alice Yost of Spring City; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468 followed by the committal service. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
