Arland Haring

Arland J. “Beef” Haring, 70, of Big Road, Gilbertsville, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Eileen M. (Weller) Haring celebrating 47 years of marriage on November 2, 2010.
Born in Gilbertsville, he was the son of the late Raymond and Kathryn (Gehris) Haring.
He was the Warehouse Foreman at Drug Plastics and Glass Company Inc. of Boyertown for 37 years retiring in 2004.
He was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ. He was a life member of the Friendship Fire Company and a member of the Bally Fire Company, Liberty Fire Company, Sassamansville Fire Company, New Hanover Fire Company, Bally Sportsmen’s Association and the Gabelsville Athletic Association.
He will be sadly missed by his wife; two sons, Andrew J. Haring and wife, Deborah of Bally and Nathan S. Haring and wife, Elizabeth of Pottstown and four grandchildren, Riley, Ashley, Samuel and Drew Haring.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Rt. 100, Barto, PA 19504 with the Rev. Homer E. Royer, Jr. officiating. The family will greet friends and family immediately following the memorial service in the church social hall and all are invited to bring a covered dish to share at the reception.
