Anthony J. Seroskie, 86, husband of Eleanor M. (Madara) Seroskie, of Pottstown, PA, formerly of Plumsteadville, PA, died suddenly early Wednesday morning, January 2, 2013.
Born in Coal Twp., Ranshaw, PA in 1926, he was a son of the late John and Pauline (Karwoska) Seroskie.
He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.
Tony loved his family as well as every sport he could watch around the clock. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and camping with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 59 years in February are two sons, Anthony M. Seroskie and his wife, Linda (Weisbrod) of Pottstown and Michael D. Seroskie of Doylestown; two brothers John and Clem Seroskie and a sister Bertha Readly; four grandchildren Michele, Ashley, Tyler, Bridget and one great-grandson Matthew.
He was predeceased by three brothers Stanley, Tom and Edward Seroskie and two sisters Josephine Zarvarich and Ann Seroskie.
A memorial mass will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangments were made by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
