Anthony Aquino, 49,of Red Hill, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Wendy S. (Barlet) Aquino celebrating 7 years of marriage on April 18th,
Born in Brooklyn, New York he was a son of the late Anthony V. and Marian (Bergen) Aquino.
He worked as a Ford automobile mechanic for Red Hill Ford Dealership and Keyser Miller Ford Dealership. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing with his father and brother and had many stories about his fishing trips. Anthony was an avid New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He especially loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by his wife; son, Alex S. Barlet of Red Hill, PA; a brother, Vincent A. Aquino and wife, Jill of South Carolina; an uncle, Alfred Aquino and an aunt, Dorothy Aquino, both of East Islip, NY; cousins, Jeanine Young and James Aquino of New York and a nephew, Zachary Scampton of Souderton.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
