Anneliese R. (Busch) Krakau, 85, widow of Alfred H. Krakau, of Quakertown and formerly of Harleysville, died Friday, February 10, 2012 at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Elizabeth (Liebich) Busch.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
Surviving are three children, Peggy Krakau of Boyertown, Helen M., wife of David E. Asbury of Quakertown and Paul R. Krakau and wife, Anne M. of Pennsburg; a brother, Bernhard Busch and wife, Margie of Philadelphia; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Berthold Busch and a grandson, Paul J. Burrier, Jr.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA with the Rev. Raymond W. Smart officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
