Anne M. “Nancy” (Streeper) Anderson, 83, widow of Albert J. Anderson, of Red Hill, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Luke’s Quakertown Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Ida M. (Shuman) Streeper.
She was employed as an Office Manager for C.V.A. Excavating Co. in Fairless Hills for 30 years before retiring.
She was a longtime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer in the church kitchen and loved to play bingo at the church. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and loved and adored her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her Chihuahua, Coco.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Raymond J. Anderson, Sr. and wife, Rose A. of Red Hill. Rosemarie P., wife of Timothy P. Rohl of Pennsburg and Lawrence J. Anderson and wife, Velvet Y. of Maple Shade, NJ; a sister, Rosemary Meehan of Churchville; six grandchildren, JenniferAnderson, Amy, wife of Christopher Stewart, Melissa, wife of Chad Lloyd, Christopher Anderson, Tyreek Taylor and Raymond Anderson, Jr. and fiancée, Jennifer Call; four great-grandchildren, Adelyn Rose Lloyd, Colden Anderson, Chase Anderson and Matthew Paulk and Marinilda Rodriguez, who was like a granddaughter to her. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Charles, William, James and Raymond Streeper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
