Anna Pearl (Lichty) Smith, 82, of Pennsburg, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the loving wife of the late James F. Smith, Sr. for 58 years before his passing in 2012.
She was born in Allentown on February 9, 1937 to the late Paul and Anna (Palansky) Lichty.
She graduated from William Allen High School and worked various jobs including many years at Mrs. T’s Pierogis. She also was employed at, and eventually retired from, Professional Pharmacy in Pennsburg.
Anna enjoyed crocheting blankets and baby clothing for her family and friends, as well as, donating them to a local church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are four children: Judy Sell; James F. Smith, Jr. and wife, Connie; Barbara Dolga and husband, Bob; and Brenda Pritchard; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Gloria Lichty; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother Paul Lichty and a grandson.
