It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna C. Force, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Born on August 9, 1931, in East Greenville, to the late James and Margaret (Bower) Yerger, Anna spent her entire life, nurturing both her family and the land she cherished.
A devoted chicken farmer who raised 13,000 chickens from 2 days old to 20 weeks twice a year before going into cleaning which she did until 2 months short of her 90th birthday. Beyond her work, Anna found joy in tending to her vegetable garden, taking care of her property, and playing cards with friends and family. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her work; she lived for her family, showering them with unconditional love and support throughout their life.
Anna's heart was as vibrant as her garden, and her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, David Force and wife, Linda; grandsons, Jordan and wife, Brittney and Chad and wife, Julia; and her three beloved great-grandchildren, Jackson, Colson and Kimberly.
