Angela K. (Kehs) Gehringer, 89, widow of Paschal J. Gehringer, of Bally, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at her home.
Born in Niantic, she was a daughter of the late Henry W. and Isabella (Walters) Kehs.
She was employed as a Bookkeeper for Fashion Hosiery Mills.
She was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a 1942 graduate of Boyertown High School and was devoted to her family, her church and her farm. She was an excellent baker and seamstress and enjoyed gardening and reading.
She will be sadly missed by her eight children, Marian Gehringer of Bally, Susan, wife of Richard Clark of Monroeville, NJ, Margaret Gehringer of Bally, Joseph Gehringer and wife, Dorothy of Barto, Martha Gehringer of Bally, John Gehringer of Bally, Jean, wife of Larry McKee of Havertown and Paul Gehringer of Bally; a sister, Mildred Kehs of Bally; and six grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by siblings, Mary, Raphael, Alma, Virgil, Lawrence, Cyril, Herman, Henry, Joe and Marguerite.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally with Monsignor Edward J. Coyle officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 and also from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the mass.
