Andrea Marie Clutter, 16, of Hereford, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from SUDEP (SUdden Death from EPilepsy) after a more than 2 1/2 year battle with epilepsy.
She was the beautiful and loving daughter of Alyssa D. Sandt, of Hereford and Derek W. Clutter, fiancé of Sherry Rundles of Gilbertsville.
She was currently in 11th grade at Upper Perkiomen High School and attending Western Montgomery CTC for Cosmetology which she truly enjoyed and excelled at. She also enjoyed working at McDonald's in Pennsburg and planned to become a volunteer firefighter. She was also active in youth groups at LCBC-Branch Creek in Harleysville.
Andie was a free spirit, indulging in drawing, writing her own poetry and lyrics, listening and creating music on music.ly and photography. She also had a love for cooking, baking, and the outdoors, especially swimming and she also was an athlete when she was younger, participating in swimming, cheerleading, soccer, softball and dance.
Andie was also a passionate advocate for epilepsy awareness and anti-bullying.
Surviving in addition to her parents are, brothers, Jacob Clutter and Kyle Leiser; maternal grandparents, Larry and Sandi Sandt; paternal grandparents, Larry and Joan Clutter; aunts, Tracy Wilson and Kristin Weller, wife of Dustin; uncles, Dan Sandt, Brett Clutter and wife, Jenell and Darren Clutter; cousins, Corey, Calista, Malaki, Danika, Hannah, Dominic, Christopher, Ivy, Morgan and Olivia; great aunts, Barbara and Cheryl; great-great aunt, Beverly; as well as her future step siblings Joanna and Felicia, and Felicia's daughter Lilly, whom Andie lovingly called her "niece".
She is predeceased by her maternal great-grandparents, Dominic and Marie Field; and her paternal great-grandparents, Harry and Hilda Hopkins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 26, 2018 at LCBC-BranchCreek, 100 Main Street, Harleysville, PA 19438. Family and friends are invited to a viewing the evening before on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 and also on Monday, November 26th from 10 to 11 am at the LCBC-BranchCreek prior to the service. Travel arrangements are being made for anyone who is unable to drive to LCBC-BranchCreek. A bus will be arriving at the Upper Perkiomen High School at 9 am and leaving at 9:15 am.
The family asks that you wear either aqua/mint, Andie's favorite color, or purple to honor Andie and her battle with epilepsy and her passion to spread awareness for epilepsy.
