Alma H. (Stengel) Sharrow, 94 years old, of Bally, PA, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Amity Place in Douglassville, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Charles W. Sharrow.
Born and raised in Bally, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Bertha (Grill) Stengel.
Alma retired from Bally Ribbon Mills after 17 years of employment. After retirement she worked part time at the Washington Inn. She was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally, PA. She was a member of Final Results Fitness, where she loved taking yoga classes and socializing with her friends. She enjoyed country line dancing in her earlier years, was an accomplished seamstress, and loved to spend her afternoons putting a puzzle together.
Surviving are her children, Diane Jacobs and husband, Michael, Joanne Rhoads and husband, Tim, Anita Leininger and husband, Robert, Steven Sharrow and wife, Kathleen, and Angela Hish and husband, John with whom she resided until her recent stay at Amity Place, and daughter-in-law, Gloria Sharrow. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and her special friend and caregiver, Abbie Houck.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two sons, Gregory and John Sharrow; four sisters, Rita Kriczky, Dolores Schultz, Clo Atwood and Loretta Patton; and three brothers, Russell, Paul and Robert Stengel.
All are welcome to visit with the family from 10 to 10:45am on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA 19504 with a memorial service at 11 AM and the burial following in the church cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA.
