Albert J. Reeves, 79, husband of Mary C. (DiElmo) Reeves, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at LifeQuest.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Maxie and Mary (McAreavy) Reeves.
Albert was an assembler of auto body parts for the former Budd Manufacturing, in Philadelphia for 30 years, before retiring in 1998.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Albert was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #945 and the Red Hill Fire Company.
Surviving along with his wife are his children, Joseph Reeves of Pennsburg and Claire, wife of Tim Rich of Birdsboro; a brother Edwin Reeves and wife, Kathy of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. 18041 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
