Adelina M. (Bozarth) Finelli, 85, widow of Vito M. Finelli, of Kutztown Road, East Greenville, PA died on Sunday, January 31, 2010 in The Lehigh Center, Macungie, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Adeline (Casci) Bozarth.
She was employed as a hairdresser for 11 years with Lynn’s Hairdressing in Kutztown until it closed in 1972.
She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally, PA. She was a Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troop #13 for 8 years, a member of the Perkiomen Valley Woman’s Club and the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center and also was a member of a women’s painting group from Old Plains Road specializing in oil paintings of still life and landscape portraits.
Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Marie Finelli, wife of James A. Horton of New Tripoli, PA; two brothers, Joseph Bozarth of Woodlyn, PA and Paul Bozarth of West Chester, PA; a sister Gloria Kindon of Clinton, NY. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Miller and a brother Thomas H. Bozarth, Jr.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine St, Bally, PA with Msgr. Edward J. Coyle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA and also 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to leaving for the funeral mass.
