Ada (Price) Breyer, 96, formerly of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital- Upper Bucks. She was the loving wife of the late Perry S. Breyer, Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2001.
Born in Marlborough Township, she was the daughter of the late Martin C. and Katie (Myers) Price.
She was a sewing machine operator for Sumneytown Pants Factory for 37 years and retired in 1989 from Red Hill Pants factory after seven years.
Ada was a faithful woman and a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.
Surviving are her three children, Perry S. Breyer, Jr., widower of Patricia, Carol, wife of Glen Houck and Debbie, wife of Sidney Dise; a granddaughter she raised, Diane Romanello; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelly Erb; siblings, Lawrence Price, Laura Wagner, Frances Herb and Ethel Szczybek; and step-siblings, Wallace Detweiler, John Criblear, and Lillian Buck.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial to follow in Frieden’s Union Cemetery in Sumneytown.
