Obituary for Mary I. Sutcliffe (Funk)
Mary I. (Funk) Sutcliffe, 94, wife of R. Gregory Sutcliffe, Jr., of Barto, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at home.
Born in Palm, she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha (Gressley) Funk.
She worked at Red Hill Dental Office for over 20 years retiring in 1986.
Mary was a member of Palm Schwenkfelder Church where she was a Diagonate member, the financial secretary and helped with the Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving along with her husband of 62 years, are six nieces and nephews and a sister, Elizabeth Pope.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Funk and sisters, Doris Kenderdine and Esther Funk.
Services will be private. Services entrusted to Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm, PA 18070.
