William E.  Trumbore
William E. Trumbore, 89, of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Frederick Living. He was the beloved husband of Jane D. (Diehl) Trumbore, sharing 61 years of marriage together.

Born in Zieglerville, he was the son of the late William and Laura (Hendricks) Trumbore.

William was a 1947 graduate of Schwenksville High School and worked for Superior Tube in Collegeville for over 40 years as a quality control inspector and sales representative, retiring in 1992.

He was member of Peace in Zion United Church of Christ in Zieglerville and was the longest standing member of the Green Lane Marlborough Lions Club with over 65 years of service.

He enjoyed golfing, biking, reading, travel and photography.

Surviving along with his wife are his two children, Ben Trumbore and wife, Karen McCaffery of Ithaca, NY and Sally, wife of Jim Semper of Millington, NJ; and four grandchildren, Corinne, Chelsea, Sean and Brian.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Peace in Zion United Church of Christ, 204 Big Road, Zeiglerville, PA 19492 with the Rev. Barbara Pence officiating. Burial will follow in Keelor’s Union Cemetery, Obelisk. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
