LeRoy (Bill) W. Young, 74, of Schwenksville, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He was the beloved husband of Edith E. (Warriner) Young, celebrating 53 years of marriage this past April 29th.

Born in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Leroy B. and Miriam V. (Horner) Young.

Bill was a 1962 graduate of Souderton Area High School and proudly served his country in the Marine Corp.

He worked for Amchem Products in Ambler for 15 years and then went on to work in the family business, John R. Young & Company, for many years as the Treasurer until retiring in 2009.

He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Harleysville.

Bill enjoyed tole painting, gardening, music, anything Disney and most of all, being a Pop-Pop to his two grandsons.

Surviving along with his wife, are his son, Jeffrey L. Young and wife, Camilla; two grandsons, Joshua W.E. and Nicholas A.E. Young; a brother, Donald Young and wife, Linda; and a sister, Faith Young.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 24th at Advent Lutheran Church, 470 Landis Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438. Light refreshments will be served after the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
