Anna (Bianconi) James, 93, widow of William L. James, of Frederick, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Frederick Living.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Aida (Luchesi) Bianconi.

She was a graduate of Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia and was a secretary for American Pulley Company in Philadelphia for many years.

Surviving are her three daughters, Deborah, wife of Warren Gelsebach, Roxanne, wife of Steve Nogradi and Susan, wife of Tim Knoebel; three grandchildren, Warren, Steven and Brian; and two great-grandchildren, Grant and Dylan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother “Yen” Bianconi and her sister Mary Bianconi.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial follows in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
