Edythe A. (Bachert) Brown, 78, widow of Robert C. Brown, Sr., of Harleysville, passed away, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Phoebe Richlandtown Health Center.

Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Clayton L. and Loretta A. (Koch) Bachert.
She was the Executive Director of the Pennridge Chamber of Commerce for 17 years retiring in 1992.

Surviving are two daughters, Lee Ann, wife of D. James Moyer of Harleysville and Linda M. Myers, fiancé of Craig Schell of Zionsville; a son, Robert C. Brown, Jr. & wife, Shannon of Emmaus; five grandchildren, Christopher Moyer & wife, Tara, Sara Moyer, Dakota Brown & wife, Katie, Samantha Myers and Amy Siwert; 6 great-grandchildren; Cassidy, Chase, Blake, Hudson, Cheyenne, Denver; and her fiancé, Lou Petro of Green Lane.

Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her half-sister, Darlene O’Donnell and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Moyer

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
