Obituary for Magdalena S. Neuin (Treichler)
Magdalena S. (Treichler) Neuin, 79, widow of Harold J. Neuin, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Season’s Hospice in Phoenixville, PA.
Born in Hereford, PA she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Bertha (Schlicher) Treichler.
Magdalena was a custodian for over 30 plus years working for Manatawny Manor in Pottstown and the Gilbertsville Fire Co.
She was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ in Barto, Pa.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and card games, watching family feud and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two children, Eugene R. Focht and fiancé, Heidi Troxell of Bethlehem, PA and Carol A., wife of Daniel Kriebel of Barto, PA; four grandchildren, Tonya, wife of Todd Bauer, Janson Focht, Daniel Kriebel and Michael Kriebel; four great-grandchildren, Anthony, Angelique, Nicholas and Zachary Bauer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Rt. 100, Barto, PA 19504 with Rev. Linda Kozlowski officiating. Burial will follow in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery, East Greenville, PA. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
