Obituary for Larry D. Buck

Larry D.  Buck
Larry. D. Buck, 66, husband of Beth L. (Miller) Buck, of Hereford, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He and his wife celebrated 44 years of marriage on June 2, 2017.

Born in Marlborough Township, he was a son of the late Woodrow W. and Lillian (Criblear) Buck.

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and worked on the Road Crew and as a Road Foreman for Upper Hanover Township for 30 years retiring in 2017.

He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church; a life member of Red Hill and East Greenville Fire Companies and played in the East Greenville Fire Company Golf League. A true sportsman, he loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club, the Nimrod Fishing Club, aka The Fish & Wildlife Association in Alburtis and the Grouse Hill Fish and Game Association in Coplay.

Surviving along with his wife are his children, Tonya L. Buck of Hereford and Joel M. Buck and wife, Crystal of Slatington; and two grandchildren, Clara and Jake. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his aunt and uncle, Hattie and Robert Bunnell.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Paul Bartlett officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
