Obituary for Deborah K. Rhoads (Frederick)
Deborah K. (Frederick) Rhoads, 61, of Frederick, passed away, Monday, February 19, 2018 surrounded by family. She was the wife of Roger R. Rhoads, with whom she would have celebrated 43 years of marriage with March 1, 2018.
Born in Ludwigsburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Frederick and the late June (Browning) Lee. She was the step-daughter of the late John Lee.
She was a 1974 graduate of Boyertown High School and was an Ops Technician for Pulse Technologies in Quakertown for many years.
Surviving along with her husband, are her two sons, Brock R. Rhoads of Frederick and Corey J. Rhoads and wife, Gabrielle of Wilmington, DE; two grandsons, Phoenix and Maximilian Rhoads; three sisters, Karen Purfeerst and companion, Ken of York, Shawn Kwant of Melbourne, FL and Kelly, wife of Robert Stephens of Melbourne, FL; and her dog, Dozer, pig, Zoe, and horse, Casey.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Brian Frederick.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Ryerss Farm for Aged Equines, 1710 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465-8806 or the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
