Obituary for Judith E. Rissell

It is with great sadness that the family of Judith E. Rissell, announce her passing Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the age of 77 years old.

Affectionately known by her family and friends by “Bachie”. She is survived by her three children, Suzanne, Mark, Jr. and Matthew Saddington; her former husband, Mark Saddington; sister, Lori (Dave) Zatzman; niece, Clover (Sylvia); three grandchildren, Shanon, Samantha and Sierra; and three great-grandchildren. Bachie will also be remembered by extended family and dear friends.

Bachie loved socializing, and her charismatic personality could make anyone smile and laugh. She truly lived life to the fullest. She loved her stray cats (there were many), embraced being a Capricorn, her proud dance moves with winning titles of the “Twist”, palm reading, sleeping late, Elvis, eating sweets, playing cards, art, watching the weather (12 times a day in case it changed), drinking coffee or dark rum, eating burnt food (probably acquiring a taste for it from years of her questionable cooking, but you always looked forward to “bachie rice”), giving advice, and life being her fortune. I promise she is gallivanting about the universe.

A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held in lieu of a service. Tremendous heartfelt thank you to the compassionate hospice staff, nurses and staff at LifeQuest. The family asks that you spend time with your loved ones, make a toast to enduring friendships, lifelong and beyond, and smile back at a memory of her life with you.

Cremation services entrusted to Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Sympathy may be extended to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to S.P.C.A. of Montgomery County, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
