Condolences

Condolence From: Janelle Hevener
Condolence: I met my brother in law Brian a little over 6 years ago and when I met him I asked Bobby if he was sure he was his older brother. Brian of course is much bigger that Bobby but he reminded me of such a little boy. Brian spent a lot of time at our house and as soon as he would come in the door he would be asking where is Frankie’s guitar? He Loved music. And food. You would know Brian had been to our house when all of the sweets, and by that I mean candy, honey, sugar and anything junk food was gone... he even used to put brown sugar in his coffee. He loved playing his guitar and would always ask me if I knew the song he was playing, I would always just start singing along and he would smile and keep playing and then cut off the song and switch to another. Brian loved the ocean, fishing and especially crabbing. I would always ask him about how do you know if a soft shell crab is ready to eat? He would always give me this long explanation but he always got so excited to tell me about it that I would ask him again almost every time I saw him. He loved being down the shore and last summer he came down and slept on the hard deck just to be able to stay a little longer. In the mornings when he would stay over he would always be sleeping on the same spot on the couch and his car would be in the same spot behind Bobby’s truck. He had surgery on his ankle about 2 years ago and stayed with us for a week, I got back from the gym one morning and asked him if he was hungry for eggs or something. He said I can really go for a steak?!? I just laughed and said I can’t go get that now I have work. He spent some Christmas eves with us and rented- I mean bought/ this stupid scary Christmas movie called Krampus which I now will forever have on my TV. He loved scary movie and he really loved the walking dead. Me and Bobby would fall asleep on the couch and he would still be up watching with Frankie. The last time we saw Brian was on his past birthday, he was 39. Bobby went out and got all of his favorite things, steak, fish, potatoes and green olives. He loved his green olives. We sang happy birthday to him and he slept on the same spot in my couch. His car was parked in the same spot behind Bobby’s truck. He when we said goodbye the next morning I did not know that would be the last time I would see him, I didn’t know it would be the last time his car would be parked in that spot and the last time he would sleep on our couch. On his birthday it was snowing and we told him he did not have to come all the way up from Maryland but I am so so glad he did. Brian your forever in my heart 💚 from Yahoo Mail for iPhone
