Obituary for Kathryn C. Beatty (Cosgrove)
Kathryn C. (Cosgrove) Beatty, 76, widow of Milford Paul Beatty, of Perkiomenville, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Grand View Hospital.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Leo J. and Margaret (Sharkey) Cosgrove.
Kathryn was a registered nurse for Bryn Mawr Hospital and was owner and operator of the Globe Restaurant in the early 90’s.
She enjoyed reading and cooking, loved swimming and sunbathing by her pool and she was also an avid gardener.
Surviving are her children, Paul C. Beatty of Perkiomenville, Leo C. Beatty and wife, Stacey of Coopersburg, Matthew C. Beatty and wife, Desiree of North Wales, and Kathryn, wife of Michael Javorka of Green Lane; eight grandchildren, PJ, Thomas, Leann, Elizabeth, Kelci, Colin, Brendon and Alexis.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sister Margaret Curvan.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA 19503. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
