Obituary for Leon H. Bitting
Leon H. Bitting, 76, of Lansdale, passed away, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Abington-Lansdale Hospital.
Born in Quakertown, he was a son to the late Paul and Mamie (Trexler) Bitting.
He was a 1959 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and retired from Tile in Lansdale.
Surviving him are his sisters, Lois Fenstermacher and Lucille Melcher.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two brothers, Kenneth and Stanley “Stosh” Bitting.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA with Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
