Obituary for Nicholas J. Dissler
Nicholas J. Dissler, 98, widower of Dorothy M. (Flood) Dissler, formerly of Philadelphia and Destin, Fl, passed away, Friday August 4, 2017 at Superior Residences in Panama City Beach.
Born in Romania, he was the son to the late Nicholas and Anna (Schag) Dissler.
He was a graduate of Temple University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and met his late wife, Dorothy.
He is survived by his nieces, Nancy Canning, widow of Terrence of Destin, FL and Marie, wife of Gene Hahn of Horsham; his nephew, Philip DeMara and wife Sharon of Philadelphia; his cousin, Joseph Dissler, widower of Peggy of NY; and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his sister, Nancy DeMara.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. A burial follows in White Marsh Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home prior to the service. Offer sympathy to the family on our website.
